Apple has launched a new Special Edition (PRODUCT) RED iPhone 7 as well as a new iPad.
On the iPhone 7 front you get pretty much the same as any other iPhone 7 in terms of specs, however, It’ll obviously be red and available in either a 128GB or 256GB variants. The new colour will be available for both the 4.7 Inch version and the larger 5.5 Inch iPhone 7 Plus. Price-wise they’ll set you back from £699 iPhone 7 and from £819 iPhone 7 Plus.
The new special edition handset is part of Apples ongoing partnership with (PRODUCT) RED of whom it has been a partner with since 2006. Every purchase sees the company donate a contribution to the Global Fund to raise awareness, support HIV/AIDS programmes and help deliver an AIDS-free generation.
The new ‘iPad’ will feature a 9.7 Inch display, a 64bit A9 chip, 10 hour battery life and a fingerprint sensor. The device is a little thicker and heavier than the iPad Pro and generally has lower specs however what is good is the price, it’ll start at just £339. Just make sure you compare with the Pro before making a purchase and don’t assume newer is better in this instance.
